Why Koru
A foundation you can trust
5+ Years on the Ground
We have been working directly in communities since our founding — not through intermediaries, but face-to-face with the people we serve. Every programme is owned by the community it works in.
Measurable, Documented Impact
We track every student, every tonne of waste, every pad distributed. Our annual reports are published publicly. We believe impact that cannot be measured cannot be trusted.
Grassroots, Not Top-Down
Change begins at the grassroots. We do not parachute in with solutions — we find the gap and build the bridge with the community, in their language, at their pace.
Legally Registered & Compliant
Koru Foundation is a registered NGO operating in full compliance with Indian law. Every expenditure is audited, and every report is filed on time.
Four Active Programmes
Project Sanjeevani, Project Udaan, Project Saathi and Project Saar run simultaneously — reaching children, communities, and women across Jharkhand and beyond.
Secure & Transparent Payments
All donations are processed securely through Razorpay. Your transaction details are kept safe and go directly towards fueling our on-the-ground initiatives.

The zero-waste philosophy is one of the ways to combat climate change and pollution. It is therefore very important to educate our youth — and school is the place to do that. Values instilled at a young age will make the youth ambassadors of Zero Waste Philosophy, who will not only spread the concept but walk the talk.
