As the name suggests ‘Saathi’ is a gender neutral term used for friends, partners or anyone who supports you. Through this project we intend to take up the menstrual health and awareness conversation to evryone in the community- girls and boys, women and men. the multiple challenges women and adolescent girls face, it is evident that promoting menstrual hygiene management (MHM) is not only a sanitation matter; it is also an important step towards safeguarding the dignity, bodily integrity and overall life opportunities of women and girls. We believe the stigma and the taboo associated with period talks can not be dissolved unless we bring the other half into the conversation. Our intervention is intended towards helping overcome these obstacles, by meeting the demands of menstrual hygine products, protecting dignity and building confidence and strengthening sexual and reproductive health amongst the menstruators
